Scott, days vary person to person because of many factors. However, or suboccipital headaches, it’s important and highly effective to do self-treatment of the suboccipital muscle trigger points first using what’s called a “pinky ball.”. Then, the 2nd step is postural exercises that improve muscle balance in the neck, shoulders and hips so you’re more vertically aligned and hence the suboccipital muscle won’t need to compensate further.

      Hi Rudi,
The frequency of postural exercises varies depending on the your condition, etc.
Typically, with the proper postural exercise routine, you can do them twice a day with great relief.
However, it’s really important to get the right postural exercise routine, that is specific and unique to your bodies muscle imbalances, alignment and condition.
Postural exercises that stabilize and re-align you are very unique to your body when given properly.
      Hope this helps!
      Michael
